Worth Remembering

I haven’t been on here in forever. I got kind of bored with it for awhile and went on vacations and just never thought about it much. Cheers to boredom :)

I’m stressing out about school. My mom told me yesterday that with the amount of loans I’m taking out for college I’ll probably have to move back home after I graduate because it’ll be like a mortage payment. Unless I happen to get a decent job and can find a cheap apartment with a roommate (or several). My plan is to graduate early so I can save money.

I was thinking of doing a minor in psychology. If I overload every single semester from here on out then I can graduate 1 semester early with a major in journalism and minor in psychology. But yesterday I was thinking that maybe if I don’t minor in psych and just do it enough to fulfill my CAS Concentration then maybe I could graduate a year early, which would really be ideal. I’m not sure how much time I’d really be saving by not minoring in psych because if I’d still have to be their for fall semester senior year then I may as well pick up the minor, ya know.

The thing with me having to overload out my ass is that means I have less time to take on an internship, which is another thing I really HAVE to do. If I want to get a job post-grad then I have to have a good and padded resume. Taking 20 credits plus 8 hours a week for my work-study leaves me with little time to fit in an internship that requires 20 hrs a week.

I think I’m fucked.
